Attorney Advertising
THIS IS AN ADVERTISEMENT. What you should know about this website, our advertising, and how we work with the people who contact us.
Last reviewed Oct 3, 2026
This website, and the television, radio, print, social media, email and text communications that point to it, are attorney advertising. The rules of professional conduct in Arizona and in every other U.S. state regulate how lawyers advertise. Those rules exist to protect you. This page sets out the disclosures they call for in one place, so they are easy to find.
01Who is responsible for this website
This website is published by CBW Law Firm, PLLC. The attorney responsible for its content is Craig Weiss, Managing Attorney.
- Principal office
- 15169 N. Scottsdale Rd., Suite 205, Scottsdale, Arizona 85254

02Where our lawyers are licensed
CBW Law Firm, PLLC is an Arizona law firm. Craig Weiss is licensed to practice law in Arizona and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona. Unless a page of this website says otherwise, our lawyers are not licensed in any other state.
We accept inquiries from people across the United States. When a matter belongs in a state where our lawyers are not admitted, we work with a lawyer who is licensed there, or ask the court for permission to appear in that one case, as that state's rules allow. We do not give legal advice about the law of a state where we are not licensed except through, or together with, a lawyer licensed in that state.
This website is not intended to solicit clients in any state where doing so would not comply with that state's rules.
03No attorney-client relationship
Reading this website, calling us, sending a form, email or text, or speaking with a member of our intake team does not make you our client and does not make us your lawyers. An attorney-client relationship begins only after we have checked for conflicts of interest and both you and the firm have signed a written agreement.
Until then, please do not send us confidential or time-sensitive information. We use what you send to decide whether we can help, as described in our Privacy Policy. Use of this website is also subject to our Terms of Use.
04General information, not legal advice
The articles, case pages and other content on this website are general information. They are not legal advice about your situation. Laws differ from state to state and change over time, and the right answer for you depends on facts we have not reviewed. Do not act, or decide not to act, based on this website without talking to a lawyer about your own circumstances.
05Legal deadlines
Every claim has a deadline, called a statute of limitations, and some have shorter notice deadlines as well, especially claims against government agencies. Contacting us, or reading this website, does not stop or extend any deadline. If you think you may have a claim, speak with a lawyer promptly.
06No guarantee of results
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Results may vary depending on your particular facts and legal circumstances. Every case is different, and no lawyer can promise how a case will turn out.
Where this website or our advertising describes a verdict, settlement or other result, it reflects the facts of that matter only. Unless stated otherwise, a dollar amount is the total recovered, before attorney's fees and case costs are deducted. Descriptions of litigation, settlements and recalls involving other lawyers or other cases are reported for information. They are not results obtained by this firm unless we say so.
07Fees and costs
We handle injury and mass tort claims on a contingency fee basis. That means our attorney's fee is a percentage of any money recovered for you, and there is no attorney's fee if there is no recovery.
Case costs are different from the attorney's fee. They include court filing fees, the cost of obtaining medical and other records, deposition and expert witness fees, and similar expenses. Your written fee agreement will tell you, before you sign it, how costs are handled. That includes whether costs are deducted from a recovery before or after the fee is calculated, and whether you could be responsible for any costs if there is no recovery. Please ask us about anything in the agreement you do not understand.
Some states and some courts limit the percentage a lawyer may charge in certain cases. When a limit applies to your case, your agreement will follow it.
08Referrals and working with other law firms
We regularly work with other law firms, including trial lawyers in other states and firms that serve in leadership roles in coordinated litigation. Your case may be referred to another firm, or handled by us together with another firm.
Before another firm works on your case, we will tell you which firm it is and what each firm will do. We will also tell you how the attorney's fee will be divided, and we will ask for your agreement in writing. Dividing a fee between firms does not increase the total attorney's fee stated in your agreement. Each firm involved is responsible to you as the rules of professional conduct require.
We pay for advertising, including this website. We do not give anything of value to anyone for recommending our services, except as the rules of professional conduct permit.
09Qualifications and specialization
The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements. Before you decide, ask us to send you free written information about our qualifications and experience.
Unless a page says otherwise, no lawyer at this firm is certified as a specialist by the State Bar of Arizona, by the board of legal specialization of any other state, or by any organization accredited by the American Bar Association. The practice areas and case types listed on this website describe the kinds of matters we handle. They are not a claim of certification or of expertise beyond that of other lawyers.
10Photographs, portrayals and client statements
Unless a person is identified by name, the people shown in photographs on this website and in our advertising are models or stock images. They are not clients, and the scenes are illustrative. The photograph of Craig Weiss is of Craig Weiss. Any dramatization, re-enactment or portrayal by an actor in our advertising is identified as one.
If this website or our advertising includes a statement from a client, it describes that person's own experience. It is not a guarantee or prediction that your case will have a similar outcome. Any statement given in exchange for payment will be identified as paid.
11Drugs, medical devices and other products
Information on this website about medications, medical devices and other products is general information. It is not medical advice. Do not stop taking a prescribed medication without first consulting a physician. Discontinuing a prescribed medication without your doctor's advice can result in injury or death.
A drug or medical device discussed on this website remains approved or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration unless the page says it has been recalled or withdrawn. We use the word "recall" only for a product that has been recalled by a government agency, or through an agreement between the manufacturer and a government agency. Nothing on this website is a medical alert, health alert, drug alert or public service announcement.
CBW Law is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the FDA or any other government agency, or any manufacturer or company named on this website. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the product. That a company or product is named, or that a lawsuit has been filed, does not mean the company did anything wrong. Allegations in lawsuits are not proven unless a court or jury finds them to be true.
12Calls, texts and emails
If you give us your phone number or email address, we may contact you about your inquiry as described in the consent you give on our forms. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to any text message to opt out. Where a state's rules require it, written communications we send to people we have not worked with before are labeled as advertising.

Some states ask lawyers to make particular statements in their advertising. These apply to this website and to our advertising wherever they are seen.
